We bought our daughter the above mixer years ago. Presently, the mixer turns on the minute the mixer is supplied with power, even when the mixer switch is turned off. Or if has been running and then turned off, the mixer can pulse on anyway. What part(s) do you think need replacing and what part number(s) should we order? Do you think that sounds like a switch issue or a control board? How much could those items cost? My husband is an electrical engineer and could probably make the exchanges and repair the unit with the correct part(s) himself. Thank you for your question. Based on what you described it sounds like the speed control lever has loosened and and you need to tighten the screws so the mixer does not come on by itself. You may also wish to check the speed control plate to make certain it is not the problem as well. To do this you will need a multimeter. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
