My previous question wasn't answered completely. The waxmotor has a broken plunger. This fits onto your part # ps11746659 actuator. I don't see any function being performed by this actuator. Is it possible KitchenAid has an option on the dishwasher i don't have? The waxmotor still electricaly works but the plunger is now shorter, everything seems to work on the dishwasher. Can you enlighten me as to the function of this actuator. I don't want to replace the waxmotor unless need be.Thanks,

Hello Scott, Thank you for your follow up. The actuator directs water to the turbo wash manifold when you have selected the turbo wash option. You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you. Hope this helps!

Does this actuator your part # ps11746659 / manufacturer part # 8572661 come with the wax motor, manufactuter part # 8559844 and what does the actuator do? The wax motor plunger broke off and i can't figure out what's not working on the dishwasher.
