removed torx screws around in side of door, disconnected all connectors connecting to control panel, removed entire control panel, removed all components off control panel and installed all components on new panel, including new electric control panel, make sure all connectors connect the right way, connectors are keyed to in sure proper

The pad that has the buttons on top of the door has worn through and the on/off button is exposed and i can not always get the dishwasher to turn on. Is this the part i am looking at online? The control panel?

Does this panel include the door latch mechanism?

The compatible door latch for your model is part number PS886319 and the control panel is part number PS10064579. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you need help placing an order. Having a very hard time getting my dishwasher to start. The "normal" light comes on, but not the start button. I can feel it click, but dishwasher doesn't start. After three tries, the normal light goes off. Assuming i need a new electronic control but do i also need a new control panel? It's hard to see what it is in the images. Thanks!

Hello Carla, thank you for your question. If you are able to push the selection buttons on your control panel, and they light up but only the start button is not functioning you should only have to replace the board itself. There are two boards, the switch board (the part that makes the click and has the activation buttons under the touch pad) is part number Electronic Control Part Number: WP8531262. I would recommend replacing that part. I hope this helps!

Can you let me know how to install this part?
Hi Glen,
Thank you for your question. Here is some general information you can reference. Before you begin any repair please unplug turn the circuit breaker off for the dishwasher. Once the power to the dishwasher has been tuned off, your first step will be open the door all the way and to remove the screws securing the control panel and pull the panel off. Depress the tabs to release control board cover. Use a flat head screw driver to release the tab through the bottom of the panel. Detach the ribbon connector and use a screwdriver to detach the tab to release the control board. Depress the tabs to release the door latch assembly and remove the old control panel and touchpad. You can nor install the new control panel and touchpad. Follow the steps in reverse and once everything has been reinstalled, restore power to the dishwasher. Your dishwasher should now work for you.
