The rubber trim on my old but well working wash machine fell apart.
My husband was ready to look for a new machine but since it works so well I decided to look on line for the replacement. Found it. Received it in the mail in three days and I popped it in. Thanks!!!

the rubber lid seal had torn and was falling off of the lid.
I removed the torn part which just pulled off of the lid and snapped in the new piece. No tools were needed. I also wanted to add that it was great doing business with Part Select. The part came well packaged, it came in a timely manner, and it was the correct part ! I will try Part Select for any of my future repair part needs.

The original seal on had deteriorated and was coming apart.
Really nothing to it, especially since the original seal was coming apart. I just ripped it the rest of the way apart and removed it, then slid the new one on in its place.

Ordered the part and a couple of days later I popped off the old and popped on the new. It took longer to remove the part from the box than to install it.

It was simple slide off the old seal and then clip on the new one. I also want to thank the workers at Parts Select, it was very simple and everything went great. I will be using them again and passing the word on.

Hi Richard, Thank you for your question. if the washer is not starting and you have to slam the lid to get it to start, the issue is with the lid switch and it will need to be replaced. The part number for the lid switch is PS11745957. The part number listed under your model for the lid seal is PS11744855. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
