Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.
Clothes were coming out damp.
UNPLUG THE DRYER FIRST I had increased the temp, but the clothes still came out a little less damp so I felt it was the Element. To replace it,take the back off.Just 5 screws, with the back off there is a long metal shield on the right side which contains the element.a single screw at the bottom of the shield has to be taken out.it is in from the back of the shield.a 5/16 open end wrench is what I used.with the screw removed just remove the 2 wires at the bottom and slide the element out then insert the new element.I did not use the screw that was in there I found it was easier to use number6 screw, nut, and lock washer.Put the 2 wires back and plug the unit in.

My drying element had to be replaced
Check that nothing else is broken. If you're replacing the drying element, chances are the thermocouple is broken, too. Also, replace your dryer vent with the new metallic, fire resistant one. The old one is probably clogged anyway. Now, to replace the element simply place the dryer on its front and take off the back panel (you only need a screwdriver). The heating element is at the lower right, if your standing behind the machine. It's in a metal shroud. Take off the leads, which are outside the shroud. Remove the 5/16 hex-screw (if you can get a socket in, great. I could not. You can also use a slotted offset screwdriver.) The head is inside the shroud and the tip points out toward you. Now, wrestle out the heating element. It's a tight fit, but a little pull and it should come out. Put the new one back in the same way, and again it may take a little wrestling. Now just replace the hex screw and the leads, put the back cover back on and flip it back up. You should have heat very quickly. I could do this repair a second time in about 15 minutes.

Hi Craig, Thank you for the question. Here is a repair story left by a previous customer. "Take off the leads, which are outside the shroud. Remove the 5/16 hex-screw (if you can get a socket in, great. I could not. You can also use a slotted offset screwdriver.) The head is inside the shroud and the tip points out toward you. Now, wrestle out the heating element. It's a tight fit, but a little pull and it should come out" Hope this helps!
