Temperature in refrigerator & freezer above appropiate.
Unplug the refrigerator, open the back of the freezer, there were blocks of ice everywhere. I defrosted the ice using hair drier. Remove the heater and thermostat assembly and replace it with the new one.

e unplug the defrost heating element then remove the two screws securing the coil to the back wall of freezer. Coil movement is limited so be gentle. remove the retaining clip at bottom of coil. remove the element starting from the top, work it around the foam insert (dont remove the foam insert). install in the reverse order and dont forget to clip on the thermostat.
