Hi, i was wondering if i should order a new timer to fix the issue that i am having with my dryer, it will shut off and then start up again after a few minutes, like it never really shuts all of the way off. So what part do i need?

Hi Donna, Thank you for your reply. There are a couple of parts that you could look at. I would suggest you check your thermostats, and your thermal fuse. If both of those parts are checking out alright, I would suggest taking a look at your door switch and your push to start switch as well. Good luck with your repair.

Hi Damien, Thank you for your question. There are a few parts that you can check just in case. You should take a look at your thermostats and thermal fuses. If those parts are testing at 0 ohms then they are definitely fine. If they are fine you may have to look at your door switch. If that part is fine then it might actually be your timer itself that is the issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

when i set timer it dont stop untill i shut it off and i only have heat when i runs for a long time and sometimes i dont have heat at all. would i need a new timer?
For model number Ler4624bq2

Hello Bobbie, Thank you for your inquiry. You can test the timer with a multimeter to see if is causing the issue, but for the symptom of the dryer not heating or taking a long time to heat, we would recommend checking the thermal fuse, the thermal cut off kit, the high limit thermostat, the cycling thermostat, the lid switch and the heating element. You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Turning the timer to setting needed. It starts to run when entering each setting. Normally you dial in setting wanted , then press start button. So now I leave door open and dial in setting and close door and it starts automatic. Would problem be start button or on motor or timer. Thank you
