my dryer lives on!!
my temperature switch on my dryer needed to be replaced-- of course I pulled dryer apart and checked everything else before finding out it was the switch. Anyway the part came quickly--was in great shape -- easy install, works great and my dryer and I are both very happy!

Hi, when the fabric care temperature was set on the 2 lowest settings, air fluff (no heat) & ultra delicate (extra low) it got so hot that we could feel the heat on the top of the machine and the clothes were too hot to hold. Being the other higher temp settings worked without getting too hot, I replaced the temp switch and now it seems to work. I was surprised it did not start a fire. Is there something else I should replace that would have prevented the temp from getting dangerously high? Thanks
For model number 11060992990
Hi Paul, Thank you for the question. Most cases if there was another defective part the Temperature Switch wouldn't have fixed the issue. Sounds like it was just a defective switch. I hope this helps!
