First, I replaced the door switch. Removed 2 screws for the lint catcher and then pryed up both front edges to lift the top. Remove 2 screws for switch disconnect the switch and replaced. My dryer wont start when i push the start button. The light is on in the dryer, but will not start when i push the button. Could it be the rely start switch?

Hello Angee, thank you for your question. We would recommend testing both the door switch and the start switch. The PartSelect Number: PS11741701 is the door switch and the push to start switch is PartSelect Number: PS11741494. The issue could be related to either of those parts. You can also run a test where you open the dryer door depress the door switch and push the start switch at the same time. Give the drum a little push to see if the motor will start. If it does start and continue to tumble, the issue could be the motor or the start switch. I hope this helps!
