This oven hasnt been used much and on turning the knob to 150 actually heats to 400 . Is this problem inly caused by the temparature control thermostat or is there any other issues that could be fixed without a new part
For model number Rf3020fkq
Hello Joseph, Thank you for your inquiry. We show that the temperature control thermostat is the most likely cause, but you can check it with a multimeter to make sure. Hope this helps!

Can you calibrate the temperature in the oven?
For model number RF3020XKQ
Hello Jimmy. thank you for your question. Ovens with dial knob: Pull the knob off of the thermostat and you’ll see a small set screw in the middle. Take a pair of pliers to turn it ever so slightly, clockwise to lower the temperature, counterclockwise to increase the temperature. Good luck with your repair.

thermostat knob tore off
my boyfriend took part of the back off unscrewed a few screws took the old one out and put the new one in. It seemed simple to me I was surprised. I knew the cost would have been more than double the part if I had called an appliance technician to do it. I received the part the next day which I was tatally suprised since it was a Saturday. I am very satisfied with Parts Select inventory and service Thank You
