How do I get to the fitting, drain Part number: Wp2304888? Can you explain or send a video. Thank you
For model number ED2GVEXVD01

Hi Charlie, Thank you for the question. To replace the drain fitting you will need to remove the back wall of the freezer then the Evaporator Drip Tray. You will then pull the old one out and just push the new one into place. Hope this helps!

Defrost water & ice collects in bottom of freezer. Have heated inside back of freezer & drain tube over drain pan. No success. Is there a check valve in the drain tube?
For model number ED27DQXBW00

Hello John, Thank you for the question. The Drain tube does not have a valve, it is just a tube, PartSelect Number PS11738273. It may have become blocked with debris. Hope this helps!

The drain plug part # wp2304888 has frozen water in it and doesn't drain so water from the coils drains on my floor after the shallow pan inside the freezer itself fills. I'm defrosting the freezer and wonder if I need to replace the plug. Is there a way to check the plug? Should I just wait till the freezer defrosts and see if water drains properly?
For model number KSRS25IKBL01

Hello Patrick, Thank you for the question. We suggest defrosting first to see if it drains. If not you may have a blockage in the drain not allowing the water to drain and causing it to freeze up. We hope this helps.
