I replaced the original start relay w/capacitor (part# 5SP14R302TFM) with the replacement part WPW10189190, because the original part was melted and burnt. When I plugged in the new start relay onto the compressor, it started up, and ran for less than a minute, then clicked off. It did this a few times, and the compressor won't stay running. Any advice?

Hello Kaiser, Thank you for your inquiry. You can test the part you received with a multimeter to see if you received a faulty part but we do show that there are two different versions of the start device for your model. This one is for a compressor that would have replaced the original production compressor installed at the factory. If your compressor has never been replaced, then you actually may need the other version of the start device, part# PS11749877. We hope this helps.
