First, where can i find the model # on a Whirlpool?Second, i cannot find the part number, though it appears to be in the exploded view but last time i ordered one it was about an inch and a half short side to side (and was the wrong color)
it may be impossible to find a flip up shelf is a flimsy engineering feat, but i will need the model # to be sure you guys exploded my refrigerator

Hello Dave, Thank you for your inquiry. The most common places you can find the model number on a Whirlpool refrigerator are on the inside of the left or right hand side wall of the fridge or freezer, behind one of the crisper drawers, on the door frame or behind the bottom kick plate. The sticker with the model and serial number will also have the Whirlpool logo and the rating information. Hope this helps.
