Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.
Washer would start to fill then water would stop.
Take three screws out of the top of washer where the control knobs are located, pull knobs off and tilt the panel toward front of machine. The control panel that needs replaced is on the back of that panel, two clips and unplug wires from control and install new control in reverse order of removing.

Washer would time our after 30 sec. in any mode
The control board was easy to get to by removing the top 3 screws on the main panel and dropping the front down. The control circuit board was only held in by plastic fasteners, (no screws). All wiring simply unplugged from the circuit board. The entire process of removing the old board and inserting the new one, and reconnecting the wiring plugs was less than 10 minutes. The unit works perfectly now.

My washing machine would not work for more then a few seconds and the power would not stay off. The lights on the knob would flash twice then it would shut off.
First I removed the three screws to take the cover off. I then had to disconnect all the wires from the existing control board and remve the control board. I then installed the new control board and reconnected the wires. I put the cover back on and it works like new.

Hi Joey, Thank you for your inquiry. It could be, I would also suggest checking your rotary switch, and your lid switch kit. It could be that either of those parts have failed and that is why your machine will not start correctly. You can test these parts with a multi-meter. Good luck with your reply.

washer should be in spin mode but instead goes to wash mode?
For model number MAVT546EWW
PartSelect logo
Hello John, thank you for contacting us. We recommend checking the drain system, the washing machine won't go into a spin cycle until it has been drained. Please ensure that drain lines and hoses are not blocked and the drain pump is operating. If this does not help, the issue is probably related to the electronic control board, part number PS11738856. Customer service is always available to help you place an order if you are having trouble doing so. Good luck with your repair.
