Thank you for your question. This dispenser should push down onto the agitator and lock into place if it is not then the dispenser may need to be replaced. If the agitator is cracked, this may prevent the dispenser from fitting correctly. Check to see if the agitator is cracked. If it is fine then the issue is the dispenser.
