We have suffered a crack in our ceramic cooktop. (something dropped on it). 1) is it safe to use the cooktop for cooking? 2) is a replacement cooktop available? Please help.
For model number CPLES399EC2
Hi Fred, thank you for your question. You will have to ask your manufacturer if the appliance is still safe to use. I imagine that it would be as long as you are not cooking on the break or cracks. The part you are requesting on has been discontinued and we have no known replacement listed in our system. We have no further information. You are welcome to contact the manufacturer of the part to see if they have recently released a new substitute. This was the part number: 318223647. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
