This OEM-sourced hopper lid on your sprayer has multiple functions. It covers and seals the paint storage hopper, preventing spillage, contamination, and evaporation. It is typically located on top of the tank or hopper where you fill or load it. To check if your hopper lid needs replacement, inspect it for fractures, warping, or missing parts. You may also notice that it does not close tightly and allows paint to escape even when closed. To remove the existing lid, release its locking mechanism and detach it from the hopper. Installing a new lid is as simple as snapping it on. Please note that this replacement part is sold individually.
