Introducing the Main Control Board from premium brand GE, tailor-made to cater to your refrigerator's vital functions such as cooling and defrosting times. This crucial component plays a significant role in maintaining optimal performance of your appliance. However, due to its complex nature, it is often misdiagnosed, requiring electrical testing with a volt/ohm meter for accurate fault-discernment. Prior to installing this part, ensure to unplug your refrigerator and safely store perishable items elsewhere. Also, don't forget to wear work gloves to protect your hands during installation. Trust GE to rectify your refrigerator's nuances with our Main Control Board and prolong the life of your appliance.

Every few days, the temperature control pad starts beeping and shows off on both freezer and fresh food display. After an hour or so, i can then adjust the temps for both back to desired levels. The motherboard was replaced a week ago but symptoms still persist. Should i replace the hmi control asm display and board hmi control behind it?

Hello John, thank you for contacting us. It would probably be the board HMI control, part number PS651993. This is the control board that regulates the temperature in the refrigerator. Good luck with the repair!

Freezer and refrigerator are not cooling. Compressor is cool to the touch where it is normally hot. I have tried to get into the diagnostic mode by holding the plus and minus buttons simultaneously for both the freezer and refrigerator but that does not seem to work. Any ideas would be appreciated. John

Hi John,
Thank you for your inquiry. There are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the temperature sensor, the inverter kit with jumpers, the evaporator fan motor and the condenser fan motor. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

I am looking for a temperature control board wr55x10159 for a GE monogram, likely a 2008 or thereabouts side by side model. I have had no luck and am hoping i can avoid buying a very expensive new refrigerator. Any thoughts?

I currently have my fridge cooling well, making ice, and dispensing ice, however the unit is not dispensing water, I can hear the relay click once when the water dispenser is activated but I don't hear a secondary click...which makes me think that one of the relays is broken on this board.
Side note I can see water flowing through the solenoid valve for the water when the ice make is activated so that valve seems to be getting power and is working properly.
it seems like I would need to buy a new board potentially or I can replace the entire bank of Relays if I knew exactly which model of relay they are.
Any thoughts or recommendations are appreciated

Hello Kiernan, thank you for reaching out. The relays for your model do not come separately and they come as a part of the control board, part number PS1021960. You may need to replace the control board to solve the problem. We hope this information helps!
