Product Description
Knob Specifications
This is the replacement control knob for your air conditioner. It is made of white plastic with a gray indicator dot and is approximately 1 ¼ inch in diameter. The control knob fits onto a shaft on your air conditioner and allows you to adjust the settings. If the knob is stripped, damaged, or missing, this is the part that replaces it. To replace the knob, carefully slide the old knob off the shaft, then replace it with the new knob, being sure that the indicator dot is in the correct position. The knob is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer, and is sold individually.

The parts worked well, but the purchase did not include everything I needed
The knobs I purchased worked very well and the part price was good, although the shipping costs were a bit higher than I expected. The parts also took longer to arrive than I expected. The biggest issue was that the purchase did not include, or mention, the semi-circular metal clips needed to correct the size difference between the knurled, d-shaped control spindles on my air conditioner and the female d-shaped cavity of the knobs themselves. Fortunately, I kept the old knobs and reused the original metal clips by breaking them out of the old knob shafts. While this did not diminish the effectiveness of the parts I purchased, I was lucky to have kept the clips because without them, thee knobs fall off the spindles. Since these may be needed for many air conditioner models, I suggest these parts be linked to the page for the clips and potential buyers be alerted they may need to buy them, also.

knob purchase
Service was great unfortunately this is not the correct knob for this appliance. We may be able to alter so that it will work.

Part looks right... but did not fit perfectly
The two control knob I needed came as expected and for a reasonable price... but they do not fit perfectly... they wobble a bit on the stems where they should be a secure fit.

GE Air Conditioner Knob
The part was delivered as ordered, but did not work as intended. I called customer service and they were very helpful. It was determined that the knob was lacking an insert that was necessary to in order for it to work. The insert is not part of the knob. Ordering a new knob would not help the problem. Customer service gladly refunded me for the purchase. Good customer service, bad part!
