This connecting rod kit is supplied by the original manufacturer for use in paint sprayers. Each kit comes with the rod, pump pin and pump pin lubricant for your convenience. The connecting rod is found within the internal combustion engine of the paint sprayer where it connects the piston to the crankshaft. The connecting rod allows the crankshaft to rotate in order for the engine to run. Over time the rod can become worn down or damaged, causing loss of power and potentially irreparable engine damage. To remove the faulty connecting rod, you will need to disassemble the engine. Disconnect the faulty rod from the piston and the crankshaft, and attach the new one in its place. Ensure that it is properly aligned and reassemble the engine components to complete the repair.
