Lights won’t turn off when door is closed. Sensor works if i touch it with my finger and if i hold the door closed tightly. What is the fix. Thanks
For model number EI24BC10QS
Hello Bill, thank you for your question. If the sensor works if you touch it with your finger or push the door shut tightly the issue might be with the door not closing properly. We would recommend checking the hinges and gasket to be sure you're getting a good seal. If you are replacing the sensor should fix the issue. I hope this helps!

The interior light never goes off. When I turn the cooler on it gives a door open alarm. I suspect the door sensor is bad. Can I bypass the door switch? How would I do that?
For model number EI24BL10QS0
Hi Larry, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest checking the sensor, part number PS10060422. If this is bad or broken, replace it. Before replacing this part, we recommend inspecting the door hinge, part number PS10060418, because the issue might be with the door not closing properly. We hope this is helpful!
