My microwave will not work at all. It beeps and the display says door when I try to use it. Will this switch kit work to solve this problem?

Thanks for your question. The door switch is the most likely cause for your issue, and as such the switch kit should resolve that problem.

Whirlpool microwave combo rmc275pvb01, part #w10727408. Our microwave does not work and displays "door" when you push the start button. We had a repairman replace the two switches that the door engages, but it still didn't work. He said the problem is the left cam that the door pushes when closed and "readies" the microwave for action. Does your switch kit include the plastic parts that hold the switches and the cam that "readies" the appliance to turn on?

Microwave door won't latch to work . It looks like the latch on left side of microwave is also not working. Is this the part i need for both sides

I had a appliance repair man come by to fix the microwave, we had to push on the door to get the micro to heat, he first fixed the door spring because the door would just fall when you opened the door, it was broken for awhile, that didn't work so he opened it up and determined that the switch need to be replaced, told me he would order it, called the next day and said it was no longer available, is this the right switch for my model # , it looks like this part comes with 3 pieces? Are these after market parts ?

My microwave has no errors, everything is functional on the display, but it does not heat. Replaced magnetron, fan, capacitor, would work for couple days and then stop heating up again. Switched the main breaker off, replaced again magnetron, capacitor, sensor, would again work for couple days and then stop heating again. Is it possible that one of the door switches are acting up without giving the "Door" error?

Microwave displays the word door when attempting to cook. Can the door switch’s be replaced with out pulling the whole combo unit from the cabinet ?

Hello Ed, Thank you for the question. Before beginning any repair, please unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet. Open the door and remove the screws securing the grill. Slide the grill to the left to release it. Next remove the screw on the left securing the control panel and loosen the screw behind the panel. Lift the panel up and pull it forward to detach. Now remove the screws to release the switch assembly. Depress the release tab and the actuator to detach the switch you are replacing. Disconnect the wire connector to fully release the old switch. Install the new door switch by first connecting the wire connector. Now position the new switch into the assembly and snap it into place. Realign the switch assembly on the frame and replace the screws to secure. Reposition the control panel. Tighten the screw behind the panel. Reposition the grill and slide it to the right and replace the screws. Plug the power cord back in and it should now work for you. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
