remove c clip, remove two wires
install new switch,
replace c clip, replace two wires
test
have a cup of coffee

First we removed the knob used to turn on the burner. Then we unscrewed the surrounding black burner label. We could see where the bulb went but had some difficulty getting into the very small space. I dropped the bulb a few times trying to place it and it landed about six inches below the cooktop. To retrieve the bulb, I removed the rubber washer on the metal rod on which the knob sat. With a flashlight, I located the bulb and used a pickle plucker (kitchen tool) to get the bulb. This happened several times. The bulb was finally secured in the white bulb recepticle and then pushed up into the its hole in the cooktop. Then we replaced the black burner label and the knob. Success.

Ordered a GE replacement grate TWICE. Both times the grate arrived broken. I paid twice for the grate over a four month period because Part Select takes so long to ship after payment. Now, I get nothing be repeated BS emails from PartSelect about how to file my claim. They just can not seem to get around to authorizing a part return or refund.
PartSelect is BS! Go elsewhere

Needed a quick replacement for knobs and found easily online. I could identify with the picture and model # and it arrived in a day!! Was very satisfied and will definitely use this site again.
