My Ice maker quit making ice but it sounds like it tries to refill but no water, the water works in the door but not in the ice,
does replacing the mother board first make sense
For model number WRS555SIHZ00
Hello David, Thank you for your inquiry. You can check the board for any visual damage, but if the ice maker is not getting water, then the most likely cause is the ice solenoid on the water inlet valve, but it could be the ice maker as well. We have included a link to our video on how to test the water inlet valve with a multimeter and how to test the ice maker. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
Hello Martha, Thank you for the question. The red H2O light on your Whirlpool refrigerator means that your water filter needs to be replaced. We hope this helps!
Hello Doris, Thank you for the question. Very sorry, this model Ice Maker does not have a Reset Button. You will need to disconnect the Ice maker or appliance from the power source for 3 mins to reset. We hope this helps!

I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.
I was clening my uprght freezer and noticed that it was preped for an icemaker. I first went to the Whilpool website and could not find my part as my freezer was a 2008 model.
