My dishwasher does not start even though the power is on and the water from previous wash has not been drained off completely:
For model number UDT555SAFP0
Hello Paul, Thank you for the question. Before the appliance can start to fill or wash there is a few seconds of drain to get rid of any water left from the previous load. If the drain does not kick in or drain the cycle may not start. We suggest cleaning the Filter and Drain Pump and Hose, make sure there is no blockage preventing all the water from draining. If they are clear, you may have to replace the Drain Pump. We hope this helps!
