Hi Hellen, thank you for contacting us. The message signifying error code 22e-5e means you actually have two errors. One reports that the defrost sensor is down and needs to be replaced. The other one reports improper work of the fan. This will be caused due to the defrost sensor failing because the frost will block the airflow and hinder the fan from moving properly. We would recommend replacing the defrost thermostat, part number PS4140510, to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: When performing a resistance check on this sensor, make sure your readings match the Samsung temp/resistance chart in their literature. My sensor was way off calibration and was causing the freeze up. Its working as designed now and DW is happy again. Learn from my mistake.
OPENED THE LEFT SIDE REFRIGERATOR DOOR WHERE THE DEFECTIVE MECHANISM WAS. GOT UP ON THE FIRST STEP OF THE STEP STOOL,REMOVED THE PHILLIPS HEAD RETAINING SCREW FROM THE BROKEN PART.PUT THE NEW CLOSING MECHANISM IN PLACE AND RE-INSTALLED THE PHILLIPS HEAD SCREW. STEPPED DOWN FROM THE STEP STOOL AND SHUT THE REFRIGERATOR DOOR.
