The wire on the one beater broke so I sent for another set of beaters. The beaters that I received are alot heavier and much nicer than the ones that came with my Kitchen Aide mixer.
I put the beaters in the mixer slots and turned on the power.
The beaters on the small hand-held KitchenAid mixer are of such poor quality that I went ahead and ordered two pairs in anticipation of the 3rd pair (yes third pair) coming apart. So I ordered a 4th pair as insurance against the 3rd pair coming apart.
I inserted the beaters into the slots on the bottom of the mixer and we were in business.
Basicly all I did was order new mixer beaters for my hand mixer. I live in the south central part of Nebraska on a farm. We are not close to any large towns, so I really appreciate finding the beaters online. The cost of a new hand mixer would be many times more than what I had to give for the parts.
Been mixing my cookie dough with one beater for a year. Rather than replacing/buying a whole new mixer I FINALLY googled the model number and "parts." Brilliant!! Now I have two beaters again and a back up for a lot less money than buying a whole new mixer and LESS wasteful. Thanks!
