The unit turns on but the Turntable doesn’t turn. The microwave doesn’t cook anything and the convection oven doesn’t heat up. What do you think is wrong?
For model number HMC80152UC
Hello Charlotte, thank you for getting in touch. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest replacing the switch kit, part number PS16731989, to solve the problem. A faulty micro switch can cause the microwave to not work. Glad to be of assistance!
Replaced the wave cover. Unscrewed existing cover that is at the top inside the microwave. Screwed in the new cover. Took about 30 seconds to do. Bosch service wanted over $100 for a service call plus parts and labor. Did it myself in seconds for under $10.
Pulled out the old piece after removing turntable and put new piece in. Then put turntable back on top. It's a $9 part and I probably saved at least $200.
