We need to vent our electric dryer to the right side. Can you tell me what side vent kit will work with our model?

Dryer powers up ok and the front control panel operates properly. Drum spins but does NOT heat. Took panels off and checked the heating element ohmed ok; checked the two safety thermostats on the heater assembly ok; checked the thermistor on the back of the blower housing ok. Checked everything I could find located in the bottom of the unit. How can I check the main ckt board located above the drum to see if this is the culprit? What am I missing to get this fixed and drying clothes again. Thanks.

Hi Steve, thank you for reaching out. We have found that the issue is with the main control board, part number PS16742871. You may check the main control board if has any burn marks or areas that are shorted out. You may also use a multimeter to test for continuity between the various connections on the control board. If there is no continuity, then there is a problem with the control board, and it will need to be replaced. You can also test whether the correct voltage is being supplied using your multimeter. We hope this solves your problem!

Could tell from the sound it was making that it was related to drum rotation. Searched online videos on how to disassemble this model GE Dryer. The Dryer drum rides on 4 rollers. 2 of the 4 of mine were very noticeably loose and made a similar noise when I spun them by hand. Simply replace the rollers and re-assembled.
