Refrigerator and freezer stop working but if you turn the temperature / climate controls all the way down then all the way up they a few times they start working. What needs to be replaced to fix this issue?

Thanks to the pictorial diagram, I was able to order correct parts. It was just a matter of removal of broken parts and replacing them.
