My dryer is not producing any heat. The cool light is on like it is on the cool down cycle. It will run for about 3 min and then shut off. No error codes on the display. When I put in the model number for the thermal fuse it shows two. Which one do I get? And am I getting g the right part for the issue?
Thanks
For model number DVE45N5300W

Hello Jenny, thank you for your inquiry. We have found that a faulty door switch is one of the most common causes of a dryer not shutting off. The door switch functions as a safety switch to prevent the dryer drum from continuing to rotate when the door is open. If your dryer is not turning off, then you probably have a faulty door switch. We would recommend checking the door switch, part number PS4210965, to fix the issue. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
Well it went really well until the dryer was put back together as it still didn’t heat. The dryer was taken apart again. This time the thermistors &fuse was tested. Alas, the new fuse was faulty. After putting the car lid fuse back on n, the dryer worked again
