The Dryer's Lint Filter is used to collect lint during the dryer cycle as it passes through the dryer vent, in order to prevent damage to the machine. This manufacturer-approved part comes in gray, measures around 12 inches wide by 11 inches high, and is easy to install. It slides into the lint filter slot in your dryer. If there is visible damage to the screen then it's time to replace the part. We recommend that you thoroughly clean the lint filter before every load, but even with good maintenance, this hard-working part is often damaged or worn over time. If your dryer isn't drying quickly, the filter may be responsible. The manufacturer has made an authorized substitution to the lint filter. Special details: When replacing lint screen ADQ56656401 you may need to also replace lint screen housing MCK49049101 and lint screen guide MEA49050001 to prevent items from catching on the lint screen, depending on your model.

This is an authentic dryer lint filter cover sourced directly from the manufacturer. It protects the more delicate lint filter in your dryer, so that it doesn’t get damaged and lint can’t mix in with your clothes. This product is gray in color and is made of plastic. It is sold individually. The manufacture has modified the part and suggests replacing the filter guide also. Please see your specific model information to locate the filter guide.

Original lint housing has damage that causes clothes to get caught and tear up

Lint screen housing
The housing will not allow the lint screen to set completely down because the housing lacks the proper cut outs causing the lint screen to set 1-1.5 inches too high. I was able to cut out the required notches in the plastic so that the lint screen would fit. The picture shows the proper notches but the delivered product didn’t have the notches and does not match the picture.
Will return the item and keep searching for the correct lint housing.

This is a replacement lint screen guide for your dryer. The lint screen guide attaches to the front bulkhead and supports the lint screen. If your lint screen will not stay in place, or if you are noticing marks left on your clothes, a broken lint screen guide could be to blame. The lint screen guide is approximately 13 inches wide on its straight edge. It is made of plastic and is sold individually. This is an OEM part, directly from the manufacturer.

LG Cothes dryer lint filter screen developed a hole and needed to be replaced.
Unfortunately, the new screen was about 1/2" wider than the old one and would not fit into the guide. After consulting by phone with your parts exp ... Read more ert, we confirmed the model number and serial numbers, and eventually concluded that a design change must have been made by the manufacturer. We thought the only solution would be to also purchase the corresponding filter guide. So I ordered the guide. When it arrived, I installed it - a very difficult installation requiring putting my head and one shoulder into the dryer in order to get the screws out. (A long arm with two elbows would be nice.) After I got the old guide out, I discovered that it was exactly like the new one - 1/2" too narrow for the new filter screen. I reinstalled the old guide and returned both parts.
The dryer filter screen still has a hole in it and I am now waiting for my refund. I have no idea how to solve the problem.

This part is the replacement lint filter cover for your dryer. It is made of gray plastic and is approximately 11-1/2 inches by 1-1/4 inches. The lint filter cover fits on top of the lint filter and protects it. The main reason you would want to replace the lint filter cover is if it is cracked or broken. This part is sold individually and is an authentic OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.
This genuine OEM felt gasket provides a cushioned seal between the inner tub of your electric dryer and the rear panel. It prevents your clothes from getting snagged and helps in heat retention. You will find it around the circumference of the drum. The most typical reason for replacing the felt seal is when it becomes worn. It is important to note that this rear seal is sold separately from the front seal and the adhesive needed to install it.
