My self-propelled lawnmower did not function. The front wheel assist did not work.
I removed one of the wheels and noticed that the gear teeth were worn off. I then checked the other wheel and it was the same. I ordered two replacement wheels and replaced the worn wheels with the new wheels. It took less than 15 minutes to remove the old wheels and replace with the new wheels. Drive cable broken
Remove the front drive cover and disconnect the old from the drive, hook the new drive cable to the drive, and connect new cable back to the handle. Reinstalled the drive cover, started unit, and test that the drive was working correctly.
