I turn the key to start and all I get is click click click

The spark plug creates the spark that ignites the fuel in your engine during the combustion process. If that does not help, you may need to replace the carburetor, part number PS8982116. Grandson lost the ignition key to my Toro!
No repair, lol! Just a perfect fit for my ignition :). I bought two in case my grandson gets curious again.

Generator would not start, Birggs & Stratton recommended to replase Gasket Exhaust.
Remove the spark suppresser, 4 face screws, 2 bottom screws and the two screws the hold the gasket. I also had to back out the top screw of the cover it blocked and prevented the removal of the gasket.
