How can I remove the battery? I am having difficulty removing the hood/shroud. Two smaller rear screws came out without much trouble, but the two screws inside the longer front cylinders will not unscrew. Is there a trick?
Thanks

Hello Ken, thank you for reaching out. We have found some relevant instructions for you to replace the battery, part number PS8851327. They may not be of the exact same model, but they will help you with the installation. You may follow the following steps: make sure the mower's engine has cooled and remove the wire and boot from the spark plug. Lift up the mower's rear shield and remove the grass bag and frame. Now, support the shield and remove the mounting screws securing the battery and fuse housing. If applicable, peel off the sealing tape and slide the housing out to access the battery. Peel the insulating tape off the battery terminals, disconnect the wires, and remove the old battery. We hope this sorts out your problem!
