I turn the oven on and nothing happens. I replaced the gas valve. What can I do next.
For model number FGB24T3ABA
Hello Helen, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Flat Glow Bar Igniter, PartSelect Number PS444179. It should draw 3.2 to 3.6 amps or produce 3.2 to 3.6 VAC at the oven safety valve terminals while the igniter is glowing. You can test the igniter with a multimeter to determine if it is defective. Hope this helps.
The bulb has a plastic clear cover. That cover can just be carefully removed using a screwdriver. It's held in by a metal bracket. After you remove the cover. You'll just need to replace the bulb and then re-install the cover and bracket.
