This crisper cover front support is used to keep the crisper shelf in place, and may need replacing if the door will not open or close. This part can be used for the front support and mounts to the inside cabinet wall. Replacing this part is an easy repair, and will require a small flat blade screwdriver, a putty knife, and a soft hammer. Remove the crisper and shelf from the refrigerator before replacing the support. The crisper cover front support is held in place with a locking pin. To remove the old part, you will first need to push the pin into the interior of the cabinet using the screwdriver, and then you can pull the support out with a putty knife. After removing the pin and attaching the new support, simply use the soft hammer to lock the new pin in place.

The temperature sensor measures approximately 9 inches long. It sends the temperature up to the electronic control. Over time this can become weak and might be sending the wrong temperature signal. If you notice that your oven is not producing enough heat, it could be because the sensor has failed. This part is located at the back of the oven, and is held in place by a few screws and a wire harness. These will need to be removed. The sensor can be slid out from the hole. The new one simply slides into place.

Water Filter

This is the replacement water filter for your refrigerator. It is white in color with a red cap, and is approximately 4 inches wide and 7 inches tall. The water filter reduces contaminants and improves taste in your refrigerator water supply. It is recommended that you replace the water filter every six months. You will find the water filter at the back, top portion of your fresh food compartment. To remove the filter, simply twist it to the left until it can be removed. Then, remove the cap on the new filter, line up the arrow with the indentation, and twist to the right until it is secure. You may want to put a towel down below the filter when completing this repair, to catch any spills or drips. When you replace the water filter, hold down the dispenser trigger for a few minutes so that all the air is purged from the water lines, and the water tank fills up. This is an OEM part and is sold individually.
