PartSelect Number PS884734
Manufacturer Part Number 8009
This an authentic OEM 40-Watt replacement light bulb, used in a number of household appliances. It is specially designed to withstand extreme temperatures, which is why these replacement bulbs are most often used to light the inside of refrigerators and ranges. It features a standard socket base, which means you simply unscrew the burnt-out bulb and screw in the replacement. Depending on the appliance you may require a screwdriver or nut driver to access the light bulb. We recommend you wear work gloves while handling this replacement part. It is constructed of glass and metal and is sold individually. Depending on the appliance and location of the bulb within it, you may want to consider disconnecting power and using a flashlight for easier access to unscrewing and re-screwing in your bulb during this repair.

Dryer was sqeaking loudly when running
I Looked on internet sites for this type of problem.
Most sites said the support rollers could cause this.
I found your site PartSelect and with help of your diagrams of the machine ordered the parts I thought were needed plus other parts that might cause the problem.
With machine torn down I replaced the rollers.
I had also ordered the main drive belt and idler assembly with the rollers and these also needed replacement. It is a good idea to order other suspect parts when doing this type of repair since you can return the parts not needed.
Your return policy is great.

Lower baking element would not heat up.
Your online instructions said to remove the two screws and pull out the heating element about 3 inches and disconnect. When I did this the element came out but not where it was connect to the wire., I could not locate the wire from the front of the oven. I then pulled out the oven from the built in cabinet and removed the rear panel. Then inserted the element with the 2 screws from the front and connect the wires to the element from the back of the oven. Jim Read more...

inoperative ignitor and a dead light bulb
I took out the old and replaced with the new. The hardest part was getting that tiny halogen bulb in that tiny little hole. It took longer to take the oven racks out and put them back in than to make the repairs. Read more...

This is a red indicator light lens for an oven that covers the indicator light for the surface element. The indicator light signifies when the element is on and heated. This part is sold individually. It is recommended to check other red indicator lights in case they need to be replaced because they often wear at the same rate. This part is the replacement oven bulb lens cover. It is made of glass and is approximately 3 inches in diameter. The lens cover is rigid and protects the oven light bulb from being damaged. This part is a replacement lens for your oven or range. I Tried to remove Oven Light and got a spark that took out the Control Panel.
Oven light was easy - Snapped the Wire Bail, removed the Glass Protect and removed the buld. Installed new bulb, installed Glass Protect and snapped the Wire Bail. The Control Panel was a little harder and had to remove the 4 screws holding the metal Back Plate cover. I wrote down all the wire connections and then unplugged the wires. I took a 1/4 nutdriver and removed 4 screws holding Control panel in place and removed the Panel. The new control panel did not come with the Switch Face Plate so I removed the old one with a razor blade. The Switch Face Plate had plenty of adhessive so I just aligned the Face Plate with the Control Panel and seated it in place - thankfully it held firmly. I installed the Control Panel with Face Plate into the range and secured it with 4 screws using nutdriver. I plugged the wire connectors into the Control Panel and installed the Metal Back Plate to the range and secured it with 4 screws. Plugged the Range into the sockets and checked it for operation. Everything worked Ok including the new oven light. Read more...
