This middle spray arm kit includes an upper spray arm, a holder or hanger, water supply tube or delivery tube, split ring seal, and a screw. The function of these parts is to spray water to all levels of the dishwasher so the dishes will come out completely clean. This kit has recently been redesigned. It does not include the upper support or mount, so consider ordering those parts as well if necessary. The spray arm is approximately 18 inches long, and all parts are white in colour. The only tool you will need to complete this repair is a Phillips screw driver.

Lower spray arm was not turing properly and causing poor wash results
I noticed the upper bushing washer was worn thin. this caused the lower spray arm to rise too high and wobble during all the wash cycles. Also the rotation of the lower spray arm was wearing grooves in the lower bushing.
I removed the retaining nut and simply replaced teh defective parts. While I was at it I figured equal w ... Read more ear might be evident on the upper spray arm so I bought a complete rebuild kit to bring all rotational parts back to new and equal preformance that was achieved by removing the ss screw and removing the upper spray arm, bushing and clip then replacing them in the order of removal. This upper spray arm mount has been redesigned by the manufacturer, so it not longer requires a clip and screw to be installed. To replace this part, first remove the rack stops from the upper dish rack and pull out the dish rack to work on it. Remove the screw holding the spray arm in place, take off the spray arm and slide out the feeding tube. Flip the rack over to remove the mounting bracket from the mount. Snap the new mount into place and replace the other parts.

The top spray arm of my dishwasher broke off in my hand.
I removed the screw holding the spray arm to the bracket. I then put on the new bracket and tightened the screw. The bracket just clips on to the top basket of the washer. Easy as pie.

New part does not spin like original part that I replaced
It is easy to change out the part. It seems though the part does not freely spin like it should. Does not seem to be warped but does not free spin.

This genuine OEM water supply manifold or tube is specially designed for various models of dishwashers. It fits onto the upper rack of the dishwasher. The manifold distributes water from the main water supply line, through the spray arm, to various parts of the dishwasher where it is needed for cleaning dishes. When the dishwasher is turned on, the water inlet valve opens, allowing water to flow into the manifold. If the manifold is damaged, or no longer functioning properly it will be unable to distribute water to the spray arms leading to uneven cleaning, water leakage, difficulties completing cycles and reduced energy efficiency.

rubber flaps on the end of the manifold were worn - no pressure
Ordered the "right" part according to the diagram. The part I received was about 1/4" too long so I couldn't use the whole manifold. Took the rubber end off and - fortunately- it fit the old manifold. Dishwasher works fine now. Wish I could have ordered just the rubber valves.

spinner kept falling off
i removed the top screw for the water input to the spinner, which gave me enough room to replace the worn nipple pin that the spinner snaps on to. then snapped the new spinner in place. and then screwed everything back into place.

Glasses in the top shelf had food bits - not rinsing well
The most difficult part of this was figuring out the problem was with the middle spray arm - that it was not spinning (and thus not rinsing the top dishes). ched) and connected it to the garden hose. I could see then that the arm was sagging and hitting the rear connection, preventing it from spinning. To replace I removed the plugs from the top shelf side-rails (bend the rail open with your thumb and tip the plugs out of the rail to the right for the left rail, to the left for the right rail. this is easier than pulling them out the end of the rail). Slide out the top shelf. Turn over, remove the phillips screw and pull off the manifold, and middle spray arm. Replace with the new parts. I also replaced the top spray arm (which was very loose, and probably not spraying well because it was so loose). For this I unclipped the top feed tube and pulled off the old sprayer. Put a towel in the bottom rack of the washer so you don't drop the little pieces into the pump below. The top spray arm simply snaps in with the two connectors (the pointy one attaches through the feed tube).

Remove upper tray and spray arm. Remove two screws retaining pipe for upper spray arm and overhead. Unscrew retainer on top of lower spray arm and remove. Gently rotate the upper feed pipe clockwise until pipe can be removed from lower pipe. You may then remove the lower pipe and bearing housing where the seal is. Reverse order for reasse
