Natural Gas to Liquid Propane Conversion Kit
★★★★★
★★★★★
(7)
PartSelect Number PS2351422
Manufacturer Part Number GRLP3
This kit is used to convert your appliance to liquid propane.
Installation Instructions
Denny from Bishop, CA
Bought a new gas oven that did not come with a propane conversion kit.
I followed the simple instructions that were included in the kit. I started by replacing the 5 orifices on the top burners. The orifices are well labeled with numbers and colors. Next, I tightened the broiler burner orifice and the oven burner orifice with a 1/2 inch wrench. I had to tighten them pretty good to get the flame down where it is supposed to be. Then, I checked for leaks and I was then ready to cook. Read more...

Surface Burner Cap - Black
★★★★★
★★★★★
(5)
PartSelect Number PS2581740
Manufacturer Part Number 316261804
The surface Meduim 9.5K burner cap is located on the top of the burner head and is used in ranges and ovens. The burner cap helps spread out the burner flame for even heating, and protects the burner head from cooking spills. Without the cap you can have a burning gas torch. If your cap is missing or is discolored, replacing this part can solve the issue. This part comes in the color black. Remember to unplug your range from the power source and allow surface to cool before installing this part. Refer to the manual provided by the manufacturer for further installation instructions.

Front Burner Igniter/Orifice Assembly
★★★★★
★★★★★
(3)
PartSelect Number PS2332312
Manufacturer Part Number 316237805
This igniter and orifice assembly is a legitimate OEM replacement part for your gas stove, and includes the igniter, orifice assembly, and gas tube. This part may need replacing if the igniter fails or the tube is leaking gas. It is a very easy repair. Remove the grates and burners from the range. Unscrew the existing assemblies and pry off the cooktop. Locate the assembly you are replacing and undo the nut holding it in place. Pull out the igniter wire by hand, and install the new one, replacing the rest of the parts in reverse order.

Roland from Auburn, ME
The burner would not light by itself, and the flame was lopsided.
The repair was nothing, but the diagnosis was a bit tricky. After carefully looking at the burner head, (cast aluminum) I pretty much figured out that the 4 small cast aluminum bumps that keep the burner cap positioned up in the air the correct amount to allow gas to flow under the cap, were worn down, preventing the gas from exiting properly by the igniter. My guess was correct. The new burner head solved all my problems. I love Parts Select for the ease of finding the correct parts and how fast they ship their orders. Great company, great service.
