which was the cause of the problem. After receiving the replacement part I installed it, verified that power was restored to the unit and reassembled the microwave, works fine, hope it lasts a long time!

Microwave keypad would not work and light would not go off. Found the bottom latch hook broke off and would not contact the switch
Tried to find a video specific to his model, but did not. I did the repair without removing the microwave door. Unplugged the microwave. Used a putty knife to pop out the 1st level internal plastic cover. Removed the 4 screws on the 2nd level plastic cover. Used a couple of flat-head screw drivers to pop the 2nd level cover away from

the clips holding it on until I had room to slide the old latch off. Slipped on the new latch. Popped on the 2nd level cover and 4 screws. Popped on the 1st level cover. Plugged in the microwave, worked perfect.
Just take your time and be careful not to break any of the plastic clips on the 2nd level cover. I didn't break any, but if you're to rough could see someone breaking them.

remove oven door, disassemble front of glass top range then basically
it was just plug and play then reassemble be careful oven door is heavy

Removed both sides, removed ceramic glass surface, disconnected surface wiring.
Replaced Small oven Latch, replaced both sides and storage drawer.
reconnected wiring, replaced control panel end covers
