This is a door handle for your refrigerator or freezer, which allows you to easily open and close the door. Take note that the screws are not included when you order this part; you will need to keep the screws from your old handle when making this repair. You are going to need a Phillips screwdriver and either a flat-blade screwdriver or a putty knife for this repair. This handle is white and is nine inches long by almost four inches wide.

door handle broke off
It would have been nice to know that screws were not included and/or show were screws could be purchased. Thank goodness I was able to reuse the top 2 and had an extra screw in my tool bag that fit the bottom, because the existing screw had been super glued into bottom part of handle. Read more...

Broken Handle & Trim On Fron Crisper
To replace the freezer handle, I just removed the 2 screws that hold the handle in place then I replaced the handle with the 2 screws. To replace the trim piece, all I had to do was pop out the existing piece and snap in the new piece. I was so disappointed with how my refrigerator looked and now it looks like new again. !! We had an accident while moving the refrigerator from one home to another and we broke both handles.
All I did was screw the handles on the front door. I had to re-do the freezer handle because I put that one on upside down. I knew I had done so since I was able to refer back to your handly on-line schematic. Read more...

Handle on the French Door (3rd Door) Freezer Broke
I had to get on-line to find how to do it. It originally seemed easy enough, but it was not as easy as it looked. I sliced my finger trying to get the brackets into the butterfly clip, but after about 30 minutes of dogged-determination, I was successful...

The water filter replacement was easy, once I broke the tighter than all get out old filter.

Sure did save me a lot of money doing it myself.

Broken refrigerator door handle
The handle is secured to screws in the refrigerator door by a sliding groove. So the old handle simply lifts up and off of the door. Similarly, I replaced the new handle by sliding it over the screws and down to secure it in place. The challenge was the screws and door panel were slightly bent from when the old handle broke, so I used the pliers and screwdriver to straighten them out enough for the new handle to slide on.
