My Dryer Timer broke off at the plastic part.
My son took the timer hood off with a Phillips, head screwdriver and replace the Timer. Then he put. Tim hood back on the dryer.

This dryer timer is used to control the unit's cycles by regulating the length of time that power is directed to each setting.

2. Remove 6 (six) sheet metal screws from upper back panel, and tilt panel back to access timer.
3. Remove selector knob from front of timer.
4. Remove 2 (two) sheet metal screws holding timer in place.
5. Pull timer and wiring harness out of enclosure for ease of access.
6. Pull each wiring connection off of old timer and placed in the corresponding location on the new timer.
7. Reverse operations 4 through 1 to reinstall timer.
8. Plug dryer back into wall outlet and test. If successful, move dryer back into position. Read more...

Dryer timer would "freeze" at the 40 minute mark when drying
1. Pull dryer away from wall, and unplug from wall outlet.2. Remove 6 (six) sheet metal screws from upper back panel, and tilt panel back to access timer.
