Kenmore Washer Timer
PartSelect Number PS11742078
Manufacturer Part Number WP3954449
Installation Instructions
Tom L from Austin, TX
Machine would fill but would not advance.
First removed the end caps that hid the two screws that attached the control panel to the main washer cabinet. Then removed a couple of other nuts that secured the back of the control panel. I was then able to lay the entire control panel on its face and access the timer which was attached with two screws. The knob screws on and is free wheeling unless it is pushed in, so I pushed it in and then was able to unscrew it from the timer. The timer had three plugable wiring harnesses attached which were easy to remove and replace. The entire job took about 35 minutes and would only take about 20 minutes if I had to do it again.
