This is a grease filter compatible with various microwaves. Grease filters are used to collect food grease and prevent buildups on the internal components of the microwave, such as the fans and other electronics. This grease filter is made of mesh and measures 7.5 inches long by 5 inches wide. If your current microwave grease filter is clogged with grease and not able to be easily cleaned, it should be replaced. This filter can be replaced easily by pulling on its D-clasp and pushing the new filter into place. Depending on how many filters your microwave uses, you may want to consider how many you need before ordering. This filter is an OEM part and is sold individually.

Open the front cover by pushing it at the top (where it says “Push”), lifting up and pushing back on top edge of the old filter. Pull it out. Installing the new one is basically just the reverse of those steps! That simple. Broken water filter appliance
Literally turned off the water to the refrigerator, disconnected the lines from the back and took one screw loose from the inside of the unit. Slid out old filter connection and slid in the new one and did reverse process.
