Samsung Appliance Idler Pulley Assembly
★★★★★
★★★★★
23 Reviews
PartSelect Number PS11771601
Manufacturer Part Number DC93-00634A
This idler pulley assembly is sourced from the original manufacturer for use in dryers. The assembly includes the pulley wheel and bracket. It is found near the motor where it provides tension to the dryer belt, allowing it to rotate the drum during the drying cycle. Over time, the pulley wheel and its bearings can wear out leading to squeaking and grinding noises when the drum rotates. The bracket or pulley wheel can also fall out of alignment which can damage the belt and cause it to slip off. Eventually, a faulty idler pulley assembly will prevent the drum from rotating altogether. Depending on your dryer model, you may need to disassemble the dryer to access the pulley assembly. Remove the dryer belt from the idler pulley wheel and detach the assembly from the dryer frame. Position the new assembly in its place and secure it in position. Thread the belt over the pulley and around the dryer drum, ensuring that the grooved side lays flat against the drum. Manually spin the drum to check that the belt is properly tensioned and reassemble your appliance.

Samsung Appliance Door Mullion Spring
★★★★★
★★★★★
54 Reviews
PartSelect Number PS4163672
Manufacturer Part Number DA81-01345B
The French door divider spring fits most Samsung French door style refrigerators. The spring applies tension between components in the refrigerator, which engages and retracts the door flap. This will allow the door to close properly. If the spring is broken, damaged, or faulty the door flap will swing open and block the door from closing, and you should look to replace the part straight away to prevent further damage to the door. The spring is a genuine OEM part, is made of metal, and measures at 1 1/2" long. This part is also known as a refrigerator door mullion spring.

Left side French Door flap on Samsung refrigerator didn't retract when closing.
OMG seriously! I stopped into my go-to appliance repair shop to ask about what might be needed to repair the problem with my refrigerator door. They said you will need to replace the Mullion Flap piece. Cost would be $250-300 with part, labor and service. I went on line to see if I could handle the repair process myself. I found a How to - U Tube video and turns out I only needed to replace a little spring and pin not the whole Mullion Flap. Went to Parts select, ordered the spring and pin and did the repair myself in about 5 minutes. Shipping was $7 so I ended up paying $13 total. Read more...

Samsung Appliance Drive Belt

PartSelect Number PS4133825
Manufacturer Part Number 6602-001655
The drum belt attaches to the motor pulley and causes the drum to spin as the motor is rotating. The drum belt is made of black rubber. This is an easy repair and should only take a few minutes. This goes between the drive motor and the dryer drum. The belt may have broken, which will cause the drum to not turn properly. You will need to pull your dryer away from the wall and use your Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws on the back. This is an OEM product, shipped directly from the manufacturer.

Samsung Appliance Drum Support Roller & Axle
★★★★★
★★★★★
8 Reviews
PartSelect Number PS4221885
Manufacturer Part Number DC97-16782A
The drum support roller and axle, which includes the roller shaft and mounting clips, is used in dryers. This part holds the drum as it rotates on the support wheels. When the roller begins to wear out, it self lubricates, so no additional grease is needed. If your dryer is making odd noises then checking and replacing the rollers can be the solution to your problem. Make sure to unplug the dryer from the power source before beginning this replacement. Refer to the diagram and installation instructions provided by manufacturer.

Loud noise like boots being ran through the dryer
YouTube, YouTube, YouTube. I YouTubed many videos on how to take a dryer apart to reach the drum support roller and axle. After watching numerous videos, I settled on one that had my exact model of dryer. For my dryer, previous inputs said I needed two rollers to for my model. That is not the case. My model actually has 4 rollers, 2 in the front and two in the back. I ordered 2 initially but only needed 1 thankfully since only one roller was bad. Keep it simple stupid is how I got it done. Dryer's are pretty simple machines mechanically. Don't trash your noisy dryer. We bought ours in 2014 and it only recently started giving us issues. This is after 2 moves and being run daily for a family of 6. I'm glad I found partselect.com. They saved me a ton of money. Read more...

Evaporator frozen (refrigrator section) and allowing top section to lose cooling
This is the Samsung French door refrigerator style that so many people have complained about freezing up and not cooling the top section. I first changed out the defrost thermostat and this did not correct the problem. I done a quick resistance check on the temp sensor that's mounted on the evaporator itself. The resistance would change when holding an ice cube on the sensor so I just assumed it was ok. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: When performing a resistance check on this sensor, make sure your readings match the Samsung temp/resistance chart in their literature. My sensor was way off calibration and was causing the freeze up. Its working as designed now and DW is happy again. Learn from my mistake. Read more...

This is a thermistor, also known as a dryer thermistor. The thermistor is attached to the blower housing, it will help regulate and oversee the temperature within the dryer. The most common symptom of needing a new thermistor is the dryer cycle not working. Before installing this part, you should disconnect your dryer from its power source. We also recommend you wear work gloves to protect your hands during this installation. To make this repair, the tools you will need include a multi-screwdriver, a Phillips head bit, and a flat-head bit.

Samsung Appliance Spring PIN - French
★★★★★
★★★★★
12 Reviews
PartSelect Number PS4163673
Manufacturer Part Number DA81-01346A
This pin acts as a sleeve for the French door spring in a refrigerator. This is a genuine OEM part that is sold individually and works with the spring within the door mullion to seal the door shut. If you need to replace the sleeve, check whether the spring in the door is still intact as well. You will only need to replace one spring sleeve pin per door, as there is only one sleeve on the upper part of the spring. To remove the spring and replace the mullion, do so with a set of needle-nose pliers and lift the lower side of the spring to easily pull it out, then you can replace the sleeve.?

PartSelect Number PS4145262
Manufacturer Part Number DA61-08305A
This French door hinge is an authentic OEM part used in refrigerators. It is used to provide support and stability to the door allowing it to open and close smoothly. The hinge is vulnerable to wear and tear, and mechanical damage over time. A faulty door hinge will result in difficulty opening/closing the door, door misalignment, inadequate sealing, and increased energy consumption. To begin this repair, locate the screws that hold the hinge to the refrigerator frame and remove them. Carefully lift the door off the hinge and set it aside. Remove the faulty hinge and position the new one in its place. Reattach the door to the new hinge and secure the hinge to the refrigerator frame using the appropriate fasteners.

Samsung Appliance Thermal Fuse

PartSelect Number PS4205213
Manufacturer Part Number DC47-00016A
This thermostat is a genuine OEM part and is manufacturer-approved for electric dryers. The thermostat is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the temperature inside the dryer during the drying cycle. A faulty thermostat could result in clothes getting burned because the heating element does not receive the necessary signal to stop producing heat. This is a dangerous situation and could also lead to a fire. Ensure that you disconnect the power source to your dryer before you conduct this repair. This thermostat is connected to the clothes dryer unit by two screws which are sold separately.
