Upper rack wheels had begun to break off. Shoddy design and materials.
I carefully followed the video instructions step by step. They were detailed, clear, and pointed out how to avoid installation mistakes. WIthout the video I would have been tempted to just figure it out myself - ("Hey, I'm a handy guy. How hard could it be, right?"). With the video I sailed right through with no dumb errors. The new rack adjuster wheel set is much sturdier than the Whirlpool original. It made sense to get new rack stops at the same time. Thank you, PartSelect.

Water dripping from right corner of door
Took out about 7 torx screws to remove the inner door liner. Discovered evidence of leak coming from the sop dispenser latch, and noticed the grommet had turned soft and was torn. The grommet is only about 1" square. Used nut driver to remove two screws to remove latch assembly. Slipped old grommet off and put new one on, and reattached the latch. The foam seal at the bottom of the door looked worn, so we replaced it with weatherstripping from home improvement store. The main door seal was brittle, so we replaced it too - just grab an end and pull the old one out. The new one was installed by starting at one end and we just pushed it in place. We used a nut-driver to push it in - we were afraid a screwdriver might damage it. The new door seal required us to latch the door to get it to stay closed the fist couple of days, but now it has loosened up a bit and works as expected. And NO MORE LEAKS. Cost is much less than a new unit!

Inner Door Foam Insulation Strip
PartSelect Number PS11748543
Manufacturer Part Number WPW10117748
This genuine inner door foam insulation strip, sometimes known as bottom seal foam, is used to create a waterproof seal that helps prevent leaking from the door area of the dishwasher. The existing insulation strip may leave a sticky residue or leftover disintegrated strip that must be scraped off before installing the new strip. Residue can be scraped off with a putty knife. Be sure to remove all residue and clean surrounding areas of the dishwasher build. It is strongly recommended to check other sealant parts on the dishwasher door such as the door gasket and dispenser grommet to ensure the leaking issue is fully solved.

Water Leak at right side bottom of the dishwasher door
After dissassembling the unit to discover the leakage source I determined that it would do best to replace the top three contributors to the problem as listed by you. Disassembly, parts replacement and reassembly was straight forward and a few hints garnered from your good instructions and assembly blow-up drawings made the job simple with the most difficult task being the removal of the adhesive foam gasket at the bottom of the door's interior. After scraping as much of the deteriorated foam away as possible with a plastic scraper I used some of my wife's nail polisher remover and a clean-up rag (being careful not to get the remover on plastic parts)and soon I had the adhesion area surface clean and ready to receive the new seal. With close attention to clean up of residues left behind from detergent and water and care taken with part installation and reassembly it no longer leaks and I hope to get another 10-15 years of leak free operation out of the dishwasher

Dishwasher Drain Pump
First remove the water from the dishwasher pan that would not drain with a wet/dry vac. Otherwise the water will all drain on the floor when you remove the pump. Then remove the two screws on the kickplate on the front of the unit below the door. Remove the kickplate/maintainence access cover. The drain pump is on the right about 8 inches in. Using two hands you grasp the drain pump with your right hand and use the left hand to push the retaining clip down. Then the drain pump will rotate 1/4 turn counterclockwise and can be removed without pulling the dishwasher out. There is likely to be some water leak out that was traped in the pump housing that you can not reach with the vac. Disconnect the wire. Connect the wire to the new pump, put it in place and 1/4 turn clockwise to install it. Replace the kickplate and you're done. Read more...

This drain pump is used in dishwashers to remove water from the dishwasher tub. To prevent this from happening, replace the drain pump. The tools needed for this installation are: Phillips screwdriver, 5/16 inch nut driver, 5/8 inch wrench, and a flathead screwdriver. Remember to unplug your dishwasher from the power source before beginning this installation project. Refer to the manual provided by the manufacturer for further installation instructions.

dishwasher not draining after wash cycle
Caviat: The actual repair is less than 15 minutes, but I spent a lot of time playing with it before I figured out it was that easy and fast. You don't need to remove the dishwasher from the counter to do this. And it will probably help to look at the new part closely so you can understand where the retainer clip is to press it and release the old pump.First remove the water from the dishwasher pan that would not drain with a wet/dry vac. Otherwise the water will all drain on the floor when you remove the pump. Then remove the two screws on the kickplate on the front of the unit below the door. Remove the kickplate/maintainence access cover. The drain pump is on the right about 8 inches in. Unit Wouldn't Work. "Clean" Light Blinking
The unit had power, but the controls would not work. The "clean" light was blinking. I first replaced the control unit, no help. I then used the "just ask" and was told the problem was the heating element and/or the hi-temp thermostat. I replaced both those and used the re-set code pushing the "hi-temp/air dry, hi-temp/air dry" buttons. That did it. Easy parts to locate and replace. It took longer pulling the unit out and putting it back than it did to replace the parts.
