This microswitch, also known as a safety switch, is a genuine OEM replacement part for use in microwaves. It is a highly sensitive switch which responds to slight changes in pressure or position, and ensures that the microwave only operates when the door is shut. The switch can fail due to physical damage or electrical failure, resulting in difficulties closing the door, and turning on the appliance. To remove the faulty switch, disconnect the wiring connectors and take note of where they are positioned. Place the new switch in position and reattach the wiring connectors to the appropriate terminals and close the microwave door to check that the switch engages appropriately.

This spark ignition switch in your stove or range, also known as a potentiometer or burner switch, is an authentic OEM component. It generates the spark needed to ignite the gas in the burner and regulate the heat output. It is commonly found behind the burner control knob on the front panel of your appliance. When the potentiometer is broken or faulty, you may observe delayed or weak ignition of your burner, or it may fail to respond to adjustments made with the control knob. Additionally, you might hear a clicking sound when turning the control knob, but the burner does not light up. To remove it, you need to detach any knobs, covers, or panels that are obstructing access to it. Use your user manual for guidance. Release the switch from any wiring connections and remove any mounting screws that are holding it in place before lifting the switch out of your appliance. Before adding this replacement part to your cart, make sure to confirm the quantity required for your appliance, as this is sold individually.
