PartSelect Number PS11731755
Manufacturer Part Number 316490003
The temperature sensor measures approximately 9 inches long. It sends the temperature up to the electronic control. Over time this can become weak and might be sending the wrong temperature signal. If you notice that your oven is not producing enough heat, it could be because the sensor has failed. This part is located at the back of the oven, and is held in place by a few screws and a wire harness. These will need to be removed. The sensor can be slid out from the hole. The new one simply slides into place.
