Handle broke on the top where the screws go.This is the second handle that broke in the same place in 5 years.
Remove the top screws, with a Philips screw driver, take broken piece out. Then remove the plastic cover on bottom of handle, take the torx screw out. Now handle is off.Put new handle in place and put all three screws back in. Then install new plastic cap, and you are all done.

Anger motor died about a year ago, ice maker just quit so replaced both
The auger motor died because two of the screws attaching it had come loose so the motor wasn't properly aligned. Wasn't sure from diagram which was the right screw so ordered two different ones from the parts diagram.PartSelect videos helped, watched several times until I felt comfortable. RCA Refrigerator Water Tubing Clip
1. Turn off water supply.
2. Unplug power cord.
3. Remove bottom Panel to access the Solenoid valve.
4. Remove the water lines from the Valve.
5. Remove the Valve from the refrigerator.
6. Remove the electrical connectors from the valve.
(make sure the new valve has the connector adaptors included) you will need them during installation.
7.Bend the new valve bracket inward about 45 degrees to clear the compressor coolant line.
8.Use a pair of pliers to braek away the plastic on the new valve for clearance.
9.If needed remove the compression fitings from the old water line installation as the new valve comes with the push and lock feature.
10.Install the bottom 2 water lines they are different sizes
11.Mount the new valve to refrigerator and tighten.
12.Install the ice maker water line to the top fitting on the valve.
13.Plug the power cord in & turn on the water supply,check for leaks and proper operation on the valve. Read more...

Removed tray from ref. Removed from cover from tray useing a screwdriver. Removed housing, took old parts out. Make sure you take the parts out in order and put new parts back in same order as old parts.

Indeed, inspecting the water inlet vale showed a slow leak. Getting the replacement part was fine, and it fit the electrical, water inlet (existing 90-degree water inlet elbow), and water outlet connections just fine - but the original machine screws that held on the original water inlet valve did not work. It took a little research to figure out the new type of screw required, which was apparently a 10/16 Type AB, which seemed to be a less common type of sheet metal screw (with a point), as opposed to the original flat-ended machine screws. So, after ordering those separately (which were a bit expensive), it went together fine.
A note on the water inlet valve part just indicating the the threading on those parts has changed over time, so potentially ordering the screws to attach it might be worthwhile, would be good information to add about the water inlet valve. Read more...

Water was leaking from under the GE dishwasher, but once we pulled it out, had apparently been going on for a little while. Turning the water off to the dishwasher made it stop, so it was happening even when the unit was not running, potentially indicating somewhere early in the path of the water to and into the machine.Indeed, inspecting the water inlet vale showed a slow leak.
